Joseph "Kim" Rankin, 59, of Royse City, Texas, passed away Nov. 29, 2016.
He was born Feb. 4, 1957, in Peoria, Ill., to Donald Rankin and Harriett (Foster) Rankin. Joseph was an adored husband, dad and papa and loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, riding Harley Davidsons and was an avid horseshoe player. Joseph was a regular at Home Depot; he was very talented with his hands and he loved to build things.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Pennie Rankin; daughter Rachel Fryar and husband Rocky; granddaughter Kennedy Fryar; sisters Jenny Hoffstatter and husband Jeff and Gina Wardell and husband Kermit; twin brother Patrick Kelly Rankin and wife Karen; his mother-in-law, Patricia Shelton; fur buddy Bart; many nieces and nephews; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
