Laurel Lee Kinman, 72, of Harriman, Tenn., formerly of Royse City, passed away Dec. 3, 2012.
She was born Oct. 26, 1940, in Hereford to the late Willard Alfred and Lois Jane Sawyer. Mrs. Kinman was a graduate of Napa Valley College. She was named D.A.R (Daughters of American Revolution) Citizen, having served as an officer in both the California and Texas Chapters.
Her son, Charles Kinman, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Kinman and wife Debbie of St. Mary’s, Ga.; Barbara Monaghan and husband Gary of Ringgold, Ga.; Diane Turbin and husband Richard of Vallejo, Calif.; and David Kinman and wife Tracie of Ten Mile, Tenn.; brother Steven Sawyer and wife Annette of California; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Dec. 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Rev. Russ Fairbanks officiating.
