Norma Randolph, 78, of Royse City passed away Aug. 17, 2012.
She was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Nashville, Ark., to E.C. and Eva (Compton) Reeder, formerly of Emory. Norma was a member of Emory First United Methodist Church and served as alternate pianist for many years before moving to Royse City. She moved her church membership to First United Methodist Church of Royse City. Norma was an active member of the Silver Sneakers exercise class.
Norma is survived by her husband, George Randolph of Royse City; sons Jimmy Crawford (Terri) of Royse City and Pat Crawford (Jan) of Royse City; sister-in-law Jean Reeder of Nashville, Ark.; grandchildren Lori Beise (Nick) of Royse City, Hope Hartless of Rockwall, Ashley Lucas of Shreveport, La., Samantha Hartless of Shreveport, La., Clint Crawford (Mellody) of Royse City, Jeremy Crawford (Keri) of Royse City, Darin Crawford (Jessica) of Caddo Mills, and Curt Crawford (Amber) of Poetry; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Herman Hartless in 2002; and a son, David Hartless
Her funeral service was at 11 a.m., Aug. 21, at First United Methodist Church of Royse City with Rev. Ann Willet and Rev. David Diller officiating, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Graveside service followed at 3 p.m. at Emory City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
