Pauline's Story

Pauline “Polly” Louise Fuller, 88, of Mesquite passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2011, at Medical City Comfort Care Center. Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m., Jan. 27, at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite.
Born Oct. 13, 1922, in Blackland, she was the daughter of William Florida and Allene Maddox Harrell. On Aug. 15, 1942, she married Lawrence Hartwell Fuller in Terrell; he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1970. Pauline worked for Fuller Enco Gas Stations. She lived in Carthage, Royse City and Gladewater prior to moving to Mesquite 38 years ago.
Pauline was a loved mother, mammaw, nana and friend; she dearly loved her family, and they will miss her very much.
Surviving are two children, Cynthia Carter and husband Billy and Kevin Fuller; a sister, Mildred Leath; seven grandchildren, Donny Crenshaw, Cindy Tigert, Stacy Myers, Latricia Carter, McKenzie Fuller, Madison Fuller and Mason Fuller; eight great-grandchildren, Jared Crenshaw, Hope Crenshaw, Annie Crenshaw, Brittani Tigert, Candice Tigert, Jillian Tigert, Hunter Tigert and Kirsten Myers; and a very dear friend, Linda Slaughter.
Two sisters, Edna Earl Taylor and Julie Bell Campbell, and two brothers, T.E. Harrell and Murrell Harrell, preceded her in death.
