Stella's Story

Stella Mae Kelly, 82, of Rockwall passed away May 30, 2011. 
She was born June 20, 1928, in Decatur to James Rueben and Stella Mae (Horsman) Kelley.  Stella was the owner/operator of ARK Delivery and Four Brothers Outdoor Power. She was a Red Cross nurse for 30 years in the Rockwall and Farmers Branch school districts and a member of a book club. Stella was also a member of First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband, Archie Kelly of Rockwall; sons Morris Kelly and wife Rhonda of Royse City, Eddy Kelly and wife Renee of Rockwall, Rex Kelly and wife Liz of Rockwall, and Russell Kelly and fiancée Vicki Kelly of Rockwall; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 
Stella was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Rex; and sisters Betty, Omadale and Jewel.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., June 2, at First Baptist Church, M.L. Jones Chapel, 610 S. Goliad in Rockwall with Pastor Steve Swofford and Jesse Crouch officiating.  Interment followed in Rest Haven Memorial Park. 
The family received friends Wednesday evening at Rest Haven-Rockwall Chapel.
