Grand Prairie, TX - Bruce Alan Fortunato Jr., 55, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on April 26, 2022, in Dallas, Texas, following a six-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on March 14, 1967, in La Mirada, California.

Alan enjoyed his time living at Camden Oasis Apartments in Euless, Texas, from 2004 to 2007. During this period, he married Sheila Stevens in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 2, 2006, they later divorced on February 7, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

He dedicated over 20 years of his life to his career as a truck driver and he enjoyed woodworking. He was known for his willingness to assist others whenever possible.

He is survived by his former wife, Sheila (Stevens) Fortunato of Grand Prairie, Texas; his stepson by his former wife Sheila, Nathan Betts, 45, of Grand Prairie, Texas; his step-grandsons, Nathan Betts, 21, and Caleb Betts, 19, both of Grand Prairie, Texas; nieces and nephews in Fennville, Michigan.

Alan will be remembered for his dedication to his family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him
